Leah’s first Halloween was a full one, though admittedly she probably didn’t understand a single bit of what was going on. With Leah dressed as a lion, we went to a Trunk or Treat festival at one of the churches in town – she wasn’t really feeling that, so we left after about an hour. Then we went to visit the grandparents and do a little door-to-door trick or treating. (Very little. As in, two houses.) She played with her cousin (a monkey, as you’ll see) and posed for just a *couple* of pictures, and then we came home for a good night’s sleep.

The lion is precious! Thanks so much for sharing that. Now that my boys are teenagers, we don't get those moments.
