There’s something about having a hood up that makes her look so much older. It breaks my heart every time.
I have to wonder if there is an age that she will eventually reach when I won’t be brokenhearted over how grown-up she is. I’m somehow doubting it. She’ll be 30 and will put her hood up to go outside and chase her own children around the back yard, and my eyes will probably tear up.
It’s sad, really.

It's not sad at all Jess. It's overwhelming love, and you're right, I don't think it ever goes away.
