Perspectives on Life and Living

If you’ve read my blog for any amount of time, you know that I tend to receive inspiration in strange places, and that God teaches me important lessons in unexpected ways. I love being able to share these lessons with you – my readers – because I figure that if I am helped by these lessons, that benefit can be magnified when others are allowed to be exposed to them. I think it’s a privilege to be able to communicate these things with you.

It is especially enjoyable for me when I can share a lesson that I suspect also connects with a thread that runs deeper through the fabric of humanity. I never want anyone to struggle and flail needlessly, and I don’t think for a minute that the lessons God teaches me are meant for myself alone. I think I am doing everyone a disservice – and dishonoring God – when I keep any such lessons to myself rather than passing them on to others who can learn from them. The body of Christ is a community, and living in community means sharing what you have been given when someone else needs it. I have been given a gift and a passion, and I know it’s meant for more than my own growth and enjoyment.

Wherever you are in life, I believe that God is working and is speaking.  I find inspiration in somewhat random places, but I know that it is Him who sparks these creative fires.  He has been infinitely encouraging to me, and I hope will be to you, too.  And please - if what you read here touches you in some way, pass the lesson on.  Refer others here to share in what God is doing.  We can grow in community together.
