This was taken by our new friend at the park last week. She said Leah’s eyes looked pretty squinty and sleepy because of the sun, so we took another one with Leah’s stylin’ shades.
The funny thing about this is that Leah’s eyes weren’t really all that squinty. Nope. That’s just how her eyes are sometimes. Poor thing – she gets that from her mama. I’ve always had people telling me to open my eyes in pictures, and I’m always telling them, “They ARE open.” I guess if it bothers her too much, she can just keep wearing her sunglasses.

They are both super cute.
I always completely close my eyes in the sun...hence the sunglasses shots.
The sunglasses are super cute! Happy M&M Monday!
What a great picture.
Stopping from Mommy and Me.
Have a wonderful week.
Very stylish indeed! Both pics are so cute.
Just read your other post...so awesome that you met a new mom friend to hang out with!
I just bought Noelle a pair of sunglasses because she's got the blue eyes like me that just won't stay open in sunlight even if it's cloudy sunlight! But Noelle just thinks it's a game. I put the glasses on and she rips them off and shoves them into her mouth.
Love the shades! My son puts his on himself, usually upside down and smashing his ears!
Perfect Mommy&Me picture!
Okay, so how do you get her to keep the sunglasses on? Noelle squints SO BADLY in the sun with her sensitive blue eyes so I bought her some and she just gets mad when I put them on and then we do battle over them. I put them on, she takes them off. I say "No!" then I put them on again and so the cycle continues. Sometimes I hold them on her face with my finger or hold her arms down because I'm trying to get her to understand they need to stay ON but at nearly 8months, I guess she's just too young to understand and with a temper tantrum she usually gets her way. I just feel bad for those pretty blue eyes of hers!
