Mom and I went to Salvation Army the other day to wander around and see if there were any treasures to be found. I grabbed up a few books for Leah; at 3 for a dollar, I couldn’t pass them up. On the back of her “Pokey Little Puppy” book was this ad, circa 1980 or so. I had never heard of this brand of diapers, which is apparently the precursor to Huggies, but the whole thing struck me as funny.
My favorite part is where – on the package – it says, “America, we’re about to change your diaper.”

2 of your thoughts:
It's too small for me to see where it says that! But it's a cute advertisement! If it's from 1980 we may have worn them...well, I was in cloth diapers so maybe not.
*L* way too funny!!! You know, sadly I was reading the other day that the gov't has passed some law saying that children's books printed before '85, I believe, had to be destroyed (or tested with a high priced test) because it was likely that the images were printed with ink containing lead *sigh* I don't know about you but I don't think I licked a single book I owned as a child...or mayyybe I did and THAT'S what's wrong with me! *L*
