Dear friends, I am so sorry I haven't given an update on Eli in a bit. There hasn't been much to tell.....but now there is.......and it's very, very good news.
All I can say is that PRAYER WORKS.
The folks at the Children's Medical Center did more ultrasounds to see if there is a cyst or an abcess or anything in his abdomen......and they saw NOTHING. What had been there before was gone. GONE.
He's at home now - thank you, Lord - and doing well, as far as I know. He does have to go back to the hospital for the next couple of weeks for follow-up ultrasounds just to make sure nothing weird is going on, but for now, he's fine. No surgery. No other complicated procedures.
Thank you, sweet friends, for praying. It means the world to my family and me. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Praise God! It's unbearable when little babies suffer, I think in those situations the people who pray put their whole heart and soul into their prayers, and God is moved to answer. Eli is adorable! Wish I could cuddle him...

I don't have internet now so I don't get a chance to keep up with your blogs. Becca told me about your nephew and I am relieved that things are getting better.
I caught up on most of your blogs from this summer. I'm glad you were able to get in a vacation. Leah is getting big and is so beautiful. I need to send you the pics from when I visited. I'm horrible about pictures. I am in the process of moving (just across the border to Maryland) so I canceled my internet for the summer (because I was home 3 days all summer). I got a job (did I even tell you that I was unemployed?). I will be working at a hospital. Anyways, I miss you and hope you had a great birthday.
