Here I am at nine weeks. (I usually don't look quite so......hmm.....awful. Ironically, I've been told that I've begun glowing this week.) I know there's not a whole lot to see there in the midsection area, but I figure if I post ones where there's not a whole lot to see, it'll be much more exciting when there
is something to see. So, yeah. Here I am with minimal midsection pudginess. Actually, there is some expansion there (and this time, it's not because of a huge Mexican meal like it was the first time we took one). My books tell me I should be experiencing "some minor thickening" in the waist, so I think that this is what that looks like. (There are bare midsection pictures in existence, but I'm going to leave that to your imagination.) (Actually, no. Scratch that. Don't, under any circumstances, imagine my belly. That's weird. Stop it.)
This week:
Nausea morning, noon, and night, but as long as I eat approximately every 14.6 minutes, I'll be fine.
Food aversions. Do not, under any circumstances, present me with the same meal I ate a few hours ago. Leftovers, which were once barely tolerable, are now abhorrent.
Pressure. I'll leave it at that (and fully expect that you experienced ladies out there to say something along the lines of, "Just wait," or, "You think that's bad?").
I am narcoleptic and my legs get tired after a stroll around the back yard.
Shopping for the wee one for the first time. Among our purchases:

Oh, come on. You know I had to.
My mom, hereafter known in this context as Weezer, bought this. I. Love. It. Nearly makes me cry.
Which, by the way, is not unusual this week.
4 of your thoughts:
Yes! I can see the post! You DO look bigger. It was the kermit onesie and that glow worm is adorable! I remember my sister had an 80s version of that when we were younger, but I think hers glowed in the dark and didn't sing. We LOVED it!!!
Yeah! I'm so glad I can have access to your post. I was really upset when I couldn't!!!
So glad you're feeling 'better enough' to post. Ahhhh.....love the little glow worm. I'll have to 'get Appy one, too' if that's okay.
I promise to NEVER, EVER say, "Just wait til..." or "That's nothin' when I was expecting...". :)
You just experience what you need to and please, please, please keep us posted. I LOVE reading about all this.
This is so very exciting.
you do look great, come on! The fun part is when you're too small for the maternity clothes and too big for your own. Pressure...oh yes. That hurts adn why in such an inconvenient spot I ask you?? I find sitting as much as possible helps. We used to have retched lines at the commissary when we were in the military and I thought my legs and other regions we're not mentioning just might explode. I made it out alive though. Here's hoping htat eases up and the nausea goes away quickly!!
