One evening an old Cherokee man told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside everyone.
He said, "My son, the battle is between two "wolves" inside us all.
One is evil. It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.
The other is good. It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, and faith."
The grandson thought about it for a moment and then asked his grandfather, "Which wolf wins?"
The old Cherokee simply replied, "The one you feed."

That was so good. I just stumbled across your email about your blog today. I was resistant to writing a blog too. I didn't think I would keep up with it because I am so lazy (which I don't sometimes) but it really is a good way to keep in touch with people. I love hearing your stories. They are so you. I can just picture you talking and it makes me feel like I am there with you.
I miss you, Jess! Where you at????
