“Mommy and Me” Monday

I had other pictures from this week that I could have used today, but this little series seemed all too appropriate. Little Leah has been fighting some kind of a bug this weekend, so we’ve been enjoying lots of sweet cuddles together. These were taken earlier in the week, but this has generally been the scene around here today.

I especially love the first one, because it seems to capture the phase she’s in now. She has been learning the parts of the body, and loves pointing out everyone’s nose, eyes, mouth, eyebrows, ears…whatever. She can tell you where they are, too, if you ask, which has become quite the party trick. It’s too cute when she coyly points out where her little nose is.

I say it just about every week, but it bears repeating: She’s my sweet girl. I just love, love, l0ve her.
