The man at Blimpie who told me that no one would like me if I ate my sandwich with banana peppers and the tractor that was going 20 MPH on the highway and the seedless grapes that were chock full of seeds don't bother me.
None of that bothers me because when I got home and was eating a bowl full of the seeded seedless grapes, the baby moved! Really and truly moved!
This was no flutter. This was an all-out kick, over and over. I immediately called Scott and made his day. (He wondered if the baby likes grapes, or if he or she didn't want any more and was trying to kick the bowl off my lap.) Then I called Mom and told her and Ashley. They were excited, but I think they were more amused at my excitement than excited outright themselves.
I can't wait to eat more grapes.

yay!! Congrats on feeling your little munchkin kick. How exciting :)
That is so AMAZINGGGG!!! I just can't WAIT til it's my turn! I was watching Father of the Bride II yesterday and fairly weeping from the yearning :-D
I've been waiting for this blog! The life inside of you kicking, is to me, the most miraculous awesome thing! (Except for birth and every miracle after that!) Enjoy enjoy enjoy every little movement!
How exciting!!! :)
awesome! That's when it starts getting fun! I used to lay there and watch my belly for a long time. Oh I'm so happy for you!!!!
haha. That's great. You could be a total celebrity and name the baby Grape, you know ;)
I'm so HAPPY for you. I remember the first time you even mentioned motherhood to me on a comment -- awwww. Precious to share the news!
Why would a guy say no one would like you if you ate banana peppers on your sandwich???
I second Beccalynn's comment...I'm glad someone asked *L*
oh yeah Jessica, how do you like being a SAHM??
Becca and Birdie - I think he thought I'd stink if I ate them? Maybe? They're kinda strong and vinegary, so that might be why. When he said that, I said, "And I care because......why?" He shut up.
Birdie - so far, so good! I keep myself busy doing stuff for church and spending time with family. When I get my ideas in order, I'll be working on writing my book. (That's been a long time coming.) It's been good so far. I'll probably look for something part time eventually, though.
I'm so glad you answered that most curious and burning question! *laugh* I'm glad you're able to keep busy. I ended up staying home for good with my babes. I couldn't leave them with anyone else because I had no family around. I couldn't part with them til Sis started school!
