The Verdict

Last night, as you know, I went to the first meeting to discuss combining Quest and Marvin. The meeting went well - really well. Everyone is very open to discussion, and actually, my only concern is that perhaps some people might be too open to the idea. That surprised me, as you can imagine, and my prayer continues to be that we will be open to God's will for this, and won't try to force something (or give up on something) that He wants to happen.

One big thing came out of the meeting: We're not calling it a merger, because someone always seems to lose in a merger. We have two entities that deserve respect, and neither will lose themselves completely, regardless of what we decide. We both have history, vision, dreams, resources, and gifts. No, we're not merging. If we do anything, it will be a marriage. Not a merge.
